Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How does Concierge Services of Tucson provide virtual administrative support to non-profits, family offices, and small businesses?
A:  While our concierges are available to perform on-site, one-time or short-term administrative duties, many organizations do not have formal offices or have reduced their administrative personnel, but still have a need for administrative support.  Concierge Services of Tucson provides quasi virtual office services.  While a virtual assistant only supplies virtual administrative support, we provide all administrative duties including answering phones, forwarding messages, answering general questions, coordinating mail campaigns, receiving and sorting through mail, paying bills, managing donor and client lists, and maintaining files.

Q.  How does Concierge Services of Tucson’s administrative phone support service differ from an answering service?
A.   While we perform similarly to an answering service in the sense that we will accept and forward messages, you will be assigned a dedicated administrative support team who will get to know your organization and can answer general questions from the public.  In addition to  receiving calls on your behalf, your dedicated team can coordinate mail campaigns, receive and sort through mail, pay bills, manage your donor or client list, and provide other administrative duties as requested.

Q:  Does Concierge Services of Tucson coordinate business meetings?
A:  Yes.  Our business meeting coordinators provide executives with complete services including: invitations, reminders, ground transportation from/to airport, catering, and audio/video support.  We even offer a meeting space located in Downtown Tucson’s Historic Brown House, now occupied by El Centro Cultural De Las Americas.

Q.  How do I make a request for organizational or executive support?
A.  Simple.  Requests can be made in-person, by email, fax, or phone. Depending on the level of assistance requested, your concierge will schedule a meeting to determine your exact needs and establish a pricing package that is most appropriate.

Q.  I am an entry level bank teller and do not know much about basic financial management or investing.  I noticed that you listed financial literacy programs under your Executive and Organizational Support services.  Can your organization implement a financial literacy program for my organization?
A.  Yes.  The founder of Concierge Services of Tucson, Inc. has 17 years of experience in investment and financial management.  She has facilitated many “basics of investing” programs in the Tucson community.

Q.  My organization is a mostly volunteer organization.  Sometimes it is difficult to maintain continuity with our newsletters.  Does your organization provide newsletter services?
A.  Yes.  Our associates will gather pertinent information from those members of your organization who will write the articles.  We will edit the articles, design your newsletter, print or e-mail, and manage your mailing list.

Q.  What is Work-Life Balance?
A.   Work-Life Balance is a broad concept that includes prioritizing activities between career and home-life.   Many corporations value the well-being of their employees and are implementing work-life balance programs into the workplace.  Concierge Services of Tucson offers Work-Life Balance solutions to such corporations.

Q.  What is included in a Work-Life Balance package?
A.  Concierge Services of Tucson can provide a dedicated concierge to be located on site at your business, housing development, apartment building, golf club, or retirement community during the hours of 8 am – 5 pm to make arrangements for car repairs, pick-up and delivery of dry cleaning, schedule massage services, prepared meal planning and delivery, grocery services, personal shopping, airport transportation, child and elder care arrangements, and much more.

We can also provide an off site dedicated team of concierges to manage your requests from 7:00 am to midnight via phone, fax, or e-mail. We do what we can to make your life more manageable.

Q.  I’m a busy executive and a single mother raising two children.   It is difficult to manage my career and still be available for transporting my children to their activities, preparing meals, and helping with homework.  Is there anything that Concierge Services of Tucson can do to help make things easier for me and my family?
A.  Absolutely!  Concierge Services of Tucson was founded by a single, working mother of two (now grown) children who knows exactly what it is like to balance the demands of career and home life.  We can support you with prepared meal planning and delivery, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, transportation, pick up and delivery of dry cleaning, personal shopping, light home repair, coordinating appointments, yard cleaning, and even personal budgeting.

Q.  My husband and I travel three months out of the year and have concerns about leaving our home and outdoor plants unattended for such a lengthy period of time.  It would be nice if someone could check on our home a couple of times per week and water our plants.  Does your company provide while-you-are-away services?
A.  Yes. Many of our concierges have extensive experience and maintain long-time professional relationships with clients in need of house sitting.  Additionally, we can coordinate appropriate services such as pool cleaning, landscaping, and housekeeping so that your home is ready to receive you upon your return.

Q.  I have two dogs and a cat that are in need of a sitter while I am away.  My eldest dog requires special medication that is given orally.  Does Concierge Services of Tucson provide pet sitting and are your concierges experienced in administering oral medication to pets?
A.  Many of our concierges are experienced in this area and can stay overnight with your pets, feed them, administer medications, walk and play with them, and scoop poop while you are away.

Q.  I live outside of Arizona and am thinking about moving my elderly mother into a senior living facility.  We need assistance to find an appropriate facility and to provide move-out/move-in services for her once we’ve found the appropriate facility.  Does Concierge Services of Tucson provide assistance in this area?
A.  Yes.  Our experienced and compassionate concierges can research and visit the facilities for you and make recommendations based on your requirements.  Once a facility has been chosen we can coordinate the move.  Our aim is to make things easier for you and for your parent.

Q.  I am a senior who no longer drives and am in need of someone to transport me to do errands a couple of times per week.  Does your company offer errand services for seniors?

A.  Yes, our concierges are available to transport seniors to and from doctor’s appointments, and to purchase groceries or personal items.  If there are times that you do not feel up to leaving your home to do errands, we can shop for you, pick up prescriptions, dry cleaning and laundry, and can coordinate many appointments and services.
